Call for Artists

Kadari Art Gallery invites submissions from independent artists at all stages of their practice for an upcoming exhibition and curatorial programme.

Applicants must be formally trained in the arts (BFA or MFA) and must not currently be under an active gallery contract.

We are particularly interested in practices engaging with abstraction, material experimentation, and pop. Artists whose work explores contemporary visual languages are encouraged to apply.

The open call is national in scope, with a special interest in artists connected to South India and the South Indian diaspora. As part of Kadari’s ongoing curatorial inquiry, we are interested in practices that reflect on South Indian identities, voices, and inherited knowledge systems.

10- 12 selected artists will be invited for a group exhibition and a curatorial programme scheduled for the end of 2026.
